Customers using the WeatherBug application on the BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Bold smartphones will also receive “always on” National Weather Service alerts with GPS capabilities, live temperature conditions on their home screen, and neighborhood weather information from more than 45,000 locations worldwide.
WeatherBug also integrates maps, enabling BlackBerry smartphone customers to check the weather of any city or area on the map by simply clicking on it. Additionally, customers can set-up new locations by pulling the address information from their BlackBerry® Address Book. They can also share current weather information, forecasts, alerts and camera views with others.
