Thom Stambaugh, recognized leader in pharmacy innovation and care delivery transformation, will serve as inaugural member

Boston, MA – November 12, 2025Outcome Capital, LLC, a highly specialized life sciences and healthcare advisory and investment banking firm, today announced the formation of its Pharmacy and Related Services Advisory Board, a new initiative within the firm’s Healthcare Services Practice. The Advisory Board will provide strategic insight and specialized expertise to pharmaceutical, pharmacy, and related service provider clients navigating the rapidly evolving pharmacy landscape, driven by consolidation, regulatory change, and emerging technology.

The formation of the Advisory Board follows the launch of Outcome Capital’s dedicated Healthcare Services Practice underscoring the firm’s commitment to expanding its sector expertise and providing clients with strategy-led, market-aligned guidance across the healthcare continuum.

The Pharmacy and Related Services Advisory Board will focus on key market dynamics reshaping the pharmacy sector, including the shift of pharmaceutical companies toward direct-to-consumer models, the evolving needs of specialty and long-term care pharmacies, and the growing impact of technology, digital health, and artificial intelligence on care delivery and access. The Advisory Board will bring together industry leaders with deep operational and policy experience to help our clients anticipate disruption, capitalize on innovation, and achieve strategic advantage.

Oded Ben-Joseph, PhD, MBA, Managing Partner at Outcome Capital, added, “This initiative builds on our commitment to providing clients with differentiated expertise in high-growth areas of healthcare services. The Advisory Board will strengthen our ability to deliver the specialized, strategy-first advice that helps clients navigate complexity, harness innovation and unlock long-term value.”

The inaugural member of the Pharmacy and Related Services Advisory Board is Thom Stambaugh, a recognized leader in pharmacy innovation and care delivery transformation.

  • Thom Stambaugh spent over two decades at Cigna, where he held multiple leadership roles, including Chief Pharmacy Officer, Vice President of Specialty Pharmacy, and Vice President of Value-Based Partnerships. More recently, he has served in executive positions with a privately funded start-up PBM and a private equity–backed behavioral health–focused long-term care pharmacy. He holds a BS in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.

Charles H. Simmons, Managing Director at Outcome Capital and Head of the firm’s Healthcare Services Practice will serve as Chairman of the Pharmacy and Related Services Advisory Board, which is expected to expand in the coming months to include additional thought leaders driving the next generation of pharmacy and related services.

“We see a confluence of forces driving unprecedented change and opportunity across the pharmacy and medication management ecosystem,” said Simmons, “I couldn’t ask for a better or more trusted inaugural member than Thom Stambaugh, and I look forward to continuing to build out the Board with other industry leaders shaping the future of pharmacy services.

The establishment of the Advisory Board aligns with Outcome Capital’s strategy-led execution model—combining deep sector expertise, operational insight, and financial acumen to help clients accelerate growth, improve outcomes, and strengthen strategic positioning in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
